Part 1  Todd shows you how he teaches a horse to take responsibility and defend by stepping up to the cow a lot in the training pen. He explains how working in the big arena gives you more time to create urgency in your horse, once you have completed a strong stop and slow turn. Todd also reiterates it’s very important to keep the timing of the stop and turn with the cow to help contain the cow no matter how fast.
